Antimagic Susceptibility. The doll is incapacitated while in the area of an antimagic field. If targeted by dispel magic, the doll must succeed on a Constitution saving throw against the caster's spell save DC or fall unconscious for 1 minute.
False Appearance. While the doll remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from a normal playwright's doll.
Innate Spellcasting. The doll’s innate spellcasting ability is Intelligence. It can innately cast the following spells (spell save DC 14, +4 to hit with spell attacks), requiring no material components:
At will: mending, levitate (self only), message, distort value, compelled duel, unseen servant.
3 a day: acid arrow, Invisibility, mirror image.
1 a day: 5th level shatter, dream, psychic scream.
Multi-Attack. The animated doll makes two melee attacks.
Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: -1 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d4 - 1) bludgeoning damage.
Whip. Melee Weapon Attack: -1 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d4) slashing damage. If the target is a creature, it must make a DC 13 Dexterity or Strength saving throw, being grappled on a failure. Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the doll can't whip another target.
Description
This playwrights doll of magically animated-carved wood, and cloth clothes sways in an eerily and uncanny way as it moves, pulling and lifting its limbs with an invisible magical string like the raging spirit of a wronged playwright. Raging yet honorable, this wronged playwright's spirit is always enraged, hunting the one whom wronged them in life with an endless abandon.
