Traits

Magic Hunter. The Arcane Hunter can cast Detect Magic at will. If a creature casts a spell within 1 mile of the Arcane Hunter, it knows the exact location that the spell was casted.

Greater Magic Resistance. The Arcane Hunter has advantage on saving throws against spells. In addition, any spell attacks against the Arcane Hunter have disadvantage.

Reactive. The Arcane Hunter gets two reactions instead of 1, and all of these reactions are restored at the start of its turn.

Consumer of Magic. When the Arcane Hunter devours the body of a creature that can harness magic, it gains 20 maximum hit points and one of its ability scores increases by 1.

Actions

Multiattack. The Arcane Hunter makes two claw attacks, and one bite attack.

Spell Rending Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (2d4 + 3) slashing damage. The target must make a DC 14 Wisdom Saving Throw. On a failed save, the target cannot cast spells until the end of it's next turn.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11(2d6 + 3) piercing damage. The target must make a DC 15 Intelligence Saving Throw. On a failed save, the target cannot cast spells until the end of it's next turn.

Anti-Magic Gaze (Recharge 5-6). One target that can see the Arcane Hunter must make a DC 16 Charisma Saving Throw. On a failed save, the creature can no longer cast spells for 1 minute. The creature may repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success.

Reactions

Spell Deflection. If the Arcane Hunter is attacked by a spell requiring an attack roll and that attack misses, the Arcane Hunter may use it's reaction to cause the caster to make an attack against themselves with the same spell that was casted.

Resist Magic. If the Arcane Hunter takes damage from a spell, the Arcane Hunter may grant itself resistance to all spell damage until the end of the current turn.
