Traits

Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If Baraqiel fails a saving throw, he can choose to succeed instead.

Magic Resistance. Baraqiel has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Spellcasting. Baraqiel is a 18th-level spellcaster. His spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 17, +11 to hit with spell attacks). It has the following cleric spells prepared:

Cantrips (at will): light, mending, sacred flame, spare the dying, thaumaturgy

1st level (4 slots): bless, healing word, detect evil and good, protection from evil and good, bane, Sleep, Thunderwave, Counterspell

2nd level (4 slots): calm emotions, lesser restoration, silence, Shatter

3rd level (3 slots): dispel magic, remove curse, Enemies Abound

4th level (3 slots): banishment, freedom of movement, guardian of faith

5th level (3 slots): greater restoration, mass healing word, Holy Weapon

6th level (2 slot): heroes’ feast, true seeing

7th level (2 slot): etherealness, Divine Word

8th level (1 slot): Holy Aura

9th level (1 slot): Power Word Stun

Actions

Healing Touch (3/Day). Baraqiel touches another creature. The target magically regains 20 (4d8 + 2) hit points and is freed from any curse, disease, poison, blindness, or deafness.

Melody of Hypnosis. Baraqiel projects a 30-foot cone of musical energy. Each creature in that area must make a DC 19 Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is charmed by Baraqiel for 1 minute. While charmed in this way, the target tries to get as close to the Baraqiel as possible, using its actions to Dash until it is within 5 feet of Baraqiel. A charmed target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns and whenever it takes damage, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature has advantage on saving throws against the Baraqiel Hypnosis for 24 hours.

Bonus Actions

Inspiration of the Gods. Baraqiel can inspire those around him with his melodic strumming of his harp. One creature he chooses can roll an additional 1d12 to an attack roll, ability check or saving throw of its choice within the next 10 minutes.

Reactions

Major Chord of Distraction. When a creature that Baraqiel can see within 60 feet of you makes an attack roll, an ability check, or a damage roll, he can reduce that roll by 1d12.The creature is immune if it can’t hear Baraqiel or if it’s immune to being charmed.
