Description
Veterans are professional fighters that take up arms for pay or to protect something they believe in or value. Their ranks include soldiers retired from long service and warriors who never served anyone but themselves.
Once the party has done sufficient leg work, they discover that the Magister’s Mace is currently in the home of a wealthy aristocrat Antun Wyhil who is not interested in selling it at any price, and regards it as their good luck charm. To get their hands on the mace, the party will have to liberate it from the noble’s secured townhouse in a daring heist.
The Magister’s Mace was acquired some time ago by Atun, a wealthy retired knight in town who collects old historic relics. The knight isn’t interested in parting with the curio at any price - as they consider it a good luck charm. Antun is a retired Knight who if the party questions or asks in the Market about, it seems he was forced to retire in dubious circumstances. DC15 History check, there was a battle he was involved in, and it’s rumoured that he fled from the scene of the battle when it turned against his companions.
