Is there a way to edit the level for this?  I wanted to add this amazing build to my Ranger, but I believe that sidekicks level as the PC levels.  Is there no way to do this?

To have a modifiable version of this particular sidekick, go to Collections >Browse &Create Homebrew.  From there navigate to Monsters and select Browse Homebrew Monsters.  Then type " crystalina sidekick" into the search bar. At the bottom of the entry is "Add To Collection".  WARNING: Requires A Subscription To Add.  Once in your private hombrew collection, you should be able to edit it for each level.

Otherwise, use Browse&Create Homebrew>Monsters>Create Homebrew>Monster:pixie>Create.  Edit the copy_of_Pixie in your Homebrew Collection and level it up.

 I do not get the option to edit like on other items... I do have a paid account...  any help?

Why doesn't this speak Common? most PCs would have trouble communicating with it.

 Because the Pixie from the MM doesn't speak Common and the Sidekick doesn't gain a new language
