Discorporation. When the Ancient Prismatic Dragon drops to 0 hit points or dies, it's body is destroyed but it's essence travels to the astral sea, where it can not take corporeal form for a time equal to 10d10 years.
Innate Spellcasting (3/Day). The Ancient Prismatic can innately cast sunbeam (spell save DC 26). Her spellcasting ability is Charisma. It can use a bonus action instead of an action to continue to use it.
Legendary Resistance (5/Day). If the Ancient Prismatic Dragon fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.
Limited Magic Immunity. Unless she wishes to be affected, the Ancient Prismatic Dragon is immune to spells of 6th level or lower. It has advantage on saving throws against all other spells and magical effects.
Magic Weapons. The Ancient Prismatic Dragon's weapon attacks are magical.
Regeneration. If the Ancient Prismatic Dragon has at least 1 hit point, it regains 30 hit points at the start of it's turn.
Deflecting Force. The Ancient Prismatic Dragon gets a bonus to it's AC equal to it's Charisma modifier until it takes damage for the first time. This bonus returns at the start of each of it's turns.
Luxen Form. The Ancient Prismatic Dragon is immune to all negative effects of light. It is immune to radiant damage, and cannot be blinded, or affected by any spells that use any form of light.
Multiattack. The Ancient Prismatic Dragon can use it's Frightful Presence. It then makes four attacks: two with it's claws, one with it's tail, and one bite attack.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +19 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 24 (4d6 + 10) slashing damage.
Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +19 to hit, reach 25 ft., one target. Hit: 28 (4d8 + 10) piercing damage.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +19 to hit, reach 20 ft., one target. Hit: 32 (4d10 + 10) slashing damage plus 14 (4d6) radiant damage.
Frightful Presence. Each creature of Ancient Prismatic Dragon's choice that is within 240 feet of it and aware of it must succeed on a DC 26 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature’s saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the Ancient Prismatic Dragon’s Frightful Presence for the next 24 hours.
Prismatic Breath (Recharge 5-6). The dragon exhales a prismatic spray in a 90 foot cone. Each creature must make a DC 26 Dexterity saving throw, or be affected by the prismatic spray, except the damage it deals is 20d6, and the indigo light deals 6d8 force damage and the violet light deals 6d8 psychic damage.
Sunbeam continuation. The Ancient Prismatic Dragon can activate sunbeam as a bonus action, as long as it is already concentrating on it.
Kaleidoscope. The Ancient Prismatic Dragon can shimmer between colors at will. As a reaction, it can become a hue of it's choice. It gains benefits based on the color it chooses. When using this reaction, the Ancient Prismatic Dragon loses it's resistances to elemental damages.
1) Red; The Ancient Prismatic Dragon gains immunity to fire damage. In addition, it's bite attack deals an additional 4d6 fire damage.
2) Orange; The Ancient Prismatic Dragon gains immunity to acid damage. In addition, it's bite attack deals an additional 4d6 acid damage.
3) Yellow; The Ancient Prismatic Dragon gains immunity to lightning damage. In addition, it's bite attack deals an additional 4d6 lightning damage.
4) Green; The Ancient Prismatic Dragon gains immunity to poison damage. In addition, it's bite attack deals an additional 4d6 poison damage.
5) Blue; The Ancient Prismatic Dragon gains immunity to cold damage. In addition, it's bite attack deals an additional 4d6 cold damage.
6) Indigo; The Ancient Prismatic Dragon gains immunity to force damage. In addition, it's bite attack deals an addition 4d6 force damage.
7) Violet; The Ancient Prismatic Dragon gains immunity to psychic damage. In addition, it's bite attack deals an additional 4d6 psychic damage.
The Ancient Prismatic Dragon can take 5 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn. The Ancient Prismatic Dragon regains spent legendary actions at the start of it's turn.
Tail. The dragon makes a tail attack.
Wing Attack (Costs 2 Actions). The dragon beats its wings. Each creature within 15 feet of the dragon must succeed on a DC 26 Dexterity saving throw or take 17 (2d6 + 10) bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone. The dragon can then fly up to half it's movement speed.
Sunbeam (Costs 3 Actions). The dragon can cast the sunbeam.
Illumination (Costs 2 Actions). The dragon can cause it's body to shine incredibly brightly, like a star. Each creature within 120 feet of it must make a DC 26 Constitution saving throw or become blinded until the end of it's next turn. Each creature within 30 feet of the dragon suffers 6d8 radiant damage.
Prismatic Force (Cost 5 Actions, 1/day). The dragon can cast prismatic wall. This can only be done once per day, and doing so means it's Deflecting Force can not be active until the spell ends.
