Snake Tongue. The alligator has a poisonous snake for a tongue. The snake has a separate brain, but shares much of its internal organs with the alligator. The snake enjoys smaller prey and kicks the larger stuff to the back of the alligator's throat.
Hold Breath. The alligator can hold its breath for 30 minutes.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 7 (1d10 + 2) piercing damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 12). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the alligator can't bite another target.
Poison Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1 piercing damage, and the target must make a DC 10 Constitution saving throw, taking 5 (2d4) poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Poison Bite. When the alligator has successfully grappled its prey, it can then bonus action attack with Poison Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1 piercing damage, and the target must make a DC 10 Constitution saving throw, taking 5 (2d4) poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
