1st level (3 slots): Hunter's Mark, Hail of Thorns, Fog Cloud, Disguise Self

Umbral Evasion: Amaris is adept at evading creatures that rely on darkvision. While in darkness, Amaris is invisible to any creature that relies on darkvision to see her in that darkness.

Actions

Multiattack. The archer makes two attacks with its longbow or one attack with it's shortsword and bite.

Longbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, range 150/600 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d8 + 4) piercing damage plus 4 (1d8) necrotic damage.

Shortsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d6 + 4) piercing damage plus 4 (1d8) necrotic damage.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5ft., one target. Hit:  2 (1d4) piercing damage, and the target's Strength score is reduced by 1d4. The target dies if this reduces its Strength to 0. Otherwise, the reduction lasts until the target finishes a short or long rest. Amaris also regains an amount of health equal to the damage dealt plus the amount the targets strength was reduced.

Legendary Actions

Amaris can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn. Amaris regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Shadow Separation (Costs 2 Actions):  Amaris separates her shadow from her body creating a Shadow. She can only have 1 Shadow out at a time. The Shadow acts after Amaris.

Shadow Teleportation: Amaris can swap spots with her shadow.

Longbow Shot: Amaris takes a shot with her longbow.

Description

After the ranger Amaris fell to a legion of Shadows in the Death House of Barovia her party took her corpse to a bedroom while they fought to end the Death House. While they continued their mission, Strahd took her body away. Using his powers he brought her back under his control and stitched her shadow back to her. He taught her that it was the parties fault for her death and instilled absolute loyalty into her. She now serves as a butler and guard to him.

In life she was a dark skinned dhampir with an attitude problem. In death her skin has grown pale and tight against muscles that are barely present. What was once dark red hair has turned white. Her eyes are a pitch black with yellow irises. When she is out with Strahd or needs to appear more normal she uses Disguise Self to do so. When doing so she appears as she did in life, but instead of armor she wears the clothes of a nobles servant. Her will is Strahd's and she serves him however he needs.
