Description
Abraxas is called the master of the Final Incantation, demon lord of magic and forbidden lore; he is said to know countless magical formulas, spells and secrets.
Abraxas is an utterly demonic in appearance; he possesses the head of a fanged, deformed bird with a tooth filled mouth and lizard-like crest behind his head. In place of his legs Abraxas has a pair of writhing vipers each with its own head and poisonous fangs. Abraxas' torso is humanoid and with the exception of his viperous legs and demented head so is the rest of his form. His two arms end in large claws that wield a whip named Sophia, that is forked like a serpent's tongue and a shield covered in arcane runes.
Lair and Lair Actions
Lair Actions
On initiative count 20 (losing initiative ties), the Abraxas takes a lair action to cause one of the following effects; Abraxas can’t use the same effect two rounds in a row:
- Abraxas chooses one humanoid within the lair and instantly creates a simulacrum of that creature (as if created with the simulacrum spell). This simulacrum obeys Abraxas commands and is destroyed on the next initiative count 20.
- Abraxas casts vitriolic sphere 3 times, with expending any spell slots
- Abraxas consumes the soul of a mage from Blackstaff Tower, regaining a spell slot of level 1d10-1 (minimum 1).
