Reckless. At the start of its turn, the shaman can gain advantage on all melee weapon attack rolls during that turn, but attack rolls against it have advantage until the start of its next turn.
Spellcasting. The shaman is a 6th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Wisdom (spell save DC 13, +5 to hit with spell attacks). It knows the following spells as druid spells, and it can use its battleaxe as a spellcasting focus.
Cantrips (at-will): druidcraft, resistance
1st level (4 slots): absorb elements, ensnaring strike, healing word
2nd level (2 slots): barkskin, spiritual weapon
Multiattack. The shaman makes two weapon attacks.
Battleaxe. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) slashing damage, or 8 (1d10 + 3) slashing damage if used with two hands.
Javelin. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 30/120 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage.
Description
Battle shamans commune with the spirits of nature through ancient rites and ritual warfare. When they go into battle, these warrior-druids call upon those primal spirits to aid them, channeling the spirits into their own bodies to fight alongside them and grant them power.
