Description
The vine otter is larger than your average otter, at about six feet long. At first glance, it retains all the cute features of a more typical otter, but these are known for going after humanoid prey. It often does this by setting up traps along a river. A commonly found one involves blocking a road with large rocks, and luring people in as they move these rocks, with its cute and playful appearance.
If anyone gets too close, the vine otter will open its mouth to reveal long tendrils, which can quickly lash out at people for a painful grasping strike. Once it has its prey under control, the vine otter will bring it against its belly and attempt to incapacitate it by smashing it with a rock.
