Description
A rare and exotic variety of lycanthrope, the wereape is found primarily in tropical regions. Being based on an animal that is primarily herbivorous in nature, the wereape does not suffer from any form of bloodlust like most other lycanthropes. That being said, while they are generally peaceful and stoic, they have a bit of a temper and are fiercely territorial when threatened, attacking with great ferrocity. While in humanoid form, they are tall and muscular, with long dark hair and strong jaws. But when the time comes, they grow to a great and powerful size, as they take on the form of a mighty ape. Regardless of what form they take, they possess immense strength and durability, as well as great agility and cunning, intelligent minds. For the most part though, these mysterious beings prefer to remain in their isolated familial communities, located in the deepest parts of the jungle.
