Ki. The monk has 4 ki points which may be spent to fuel ki features such as Flurry of Blows, Patient Defense, Step of the Wind and Shadow Arts.
Stillness of Mind. The monk has advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened, and magic can't put the monk to sleep.
Unarmored Defense. While the monk is wearing no armor and wielding no shield, its AC includes its Wisdom modifier.
Multiattack. The monk makes two unarmed strikes or two dart attacks. It can also use Shadow Step once, either before or after one of the attacks.
Unarmed Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, the monk can choose one of the following additional effects:
- The target must succeed on a DC 13 Strength saving throw or drop one item it is holding (monk’s choice).
- The target must succeed on a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone.
- The target must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution saving throw or be stunned until the end of the monk’s next turn.
Dart. Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d4 + 3) piercing damage.
Flurry of Blows. Immediately after the monk takes the Attack action it can spend 1 ki point to make two unarmed strikes as a bonus action.
Patient Defense. The monk can spend 1 ki point to take the dodge action as a bonus action.
Step of the Wind. The monk can spend 1 ki point to take the Disengage or Dash action as a bonus action.
Shadow Arts. As an action, the monk can spend 2 ki points to cast darkness, darkvision, pass without trace, or silence, without providing material components. Additionally, the monk can cast the following spells without expending a ki point:
Cantrips (At Will): minor illusion
Shadow Step. The monk magically teleports, along with any equipment it is wearing or carrying, up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space it can see. Both the space it is leaving and its destination must be in dim light or darkness.
Deflect Missile. In response to being hit by a ranged weapon attack, the monk deflects the missile. The damage it takes from the attack is reduced by 1d8 + 3. If the damage is reduced to 0, the monk catches the missile if it’s small enough to hold in one hand and the monk has a hand free. The monk may choose to spend 1 ki point to make a Dart attack with the projectile.
