Blood Sacrament. The Deacon has advantage on attack rolls against any creature that doesn't have all its hit points, and deals an extra 5 (1d10) damage to any creature it hits  that doesn't have all its hit points.

Spellcasting. The deacon is a 7th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 13, +5 to hit with spell attacks). It has the following cleric spells prepared:

Cantrips (at will): guidance, light, Resistance, sacred flame

1st level (4 slots): bane, guiding bolt, sanctuary

2nd level (3 slots): blindness/deafness, prayer of healing, spiritual weapon

3rd level (3 slots): bestow curse, revivify, spirit guardians

4th level (1 slot): guardian of faith

Actions

Quarterstaff. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d6 + 1) bludgeoning damage, or 5 (1d8 + 1) bludgeoning damage if used with two hands.

Ecstasy of Saint Eulogius (1/day). The deacon chooses any number of dead humanoid corpses it can see within 60 feet. The deacon explodes in a cloud of blood, killing it instantly, as all the other corpses start writhing. All creatures within 10 feet of the deacon must succeed on a DC 13 dexterity saving throw or take 21 (6d6) poison damage. At the start of the next round, all chosen corpses also explode, and all creatures within 10 feet of a corpse must succeed on a DC 13 dexterity saving throw or take 21 (6d6) poison damage.

Description

Vampiric Deacons are the spiritual and political advisors of the Antillian Armada. Whenever a conquistador finds themselves growing weary of conquest, it takes but a word from a Deacon to spark their passion and send them screaming across a battlefield once more. Most Deacons are fully bought into their own warped religion, willing to wade onto a battlefield screaming sermons as they transmute dead corpses into sacramental bombs.

COMBAT TIPS!:

-Deacons will start combat by dropping a Guardian of Faith in the center of enemy ranks, or will use it to guard key choke points. Their guardians tend to resemble great Antillian saints or the undead bone angels they worship. On subsequent rounds of combat they'll tend to use either Guiding Bolt, Spirit Guardians, or Prayer of Healing.

-Once Deacons see that a battle is lost, they will invoke the Ecstasy of Saint Eulogius to take as many enemies with them before they die.

-Deacons are also masters of propaganda, and will use spells such as Blindness/Deafness or Bestow Curse on innocents to demonstrate the awesome power of their faith.
