Description
Born originally as a Human, Baron Trest was once a man of great renown. Born into a royal family, Seliver found his skills in the art of speaking. He studied years of debate and ways to persuade until he decided to swindle others in a fashin they would regret. By using his skills, Seliver found his way into tricking other humans into oaths with him. When they eventually broke their contracts due to the knowledge of never making one, Seliver single-handedly caused thousands to be dragged to their respective hells due to their lack of loyalty to their own oaths they made.
This path, however, did not come with only riches. It was a lonely road once Seliver became addicted to Schadenfreude. It was a rush that he needed in his life. It was when he was on his deathbed when he realized his fatal mistake. He sat there as he died and looked around to find no one mourning him and no one there to care for him. He simply died surrounded by darkness.
When he awoke, he found himself bound by strings and malformed. His body had turned into a crooked carcass. His limbs tangled and held by strings and still no one to accompany him. He heard the voice of a woman. Her name was Tisseya. She told him that he was placed there for his past deeds of true evil and that he would rot away.
But Seliver knew better, he utilized his anguish. Over centuries, Trest used his domain to create puppets and strings that would aid him in finding "friends." And that was when he finally swindled Tisseya into a pact, one that would drive her mad. He told her that he could lend her his power if she befriended him, but being the fool she was, she fell into his web of lies and began to corrupt.
Years later, was when the Soul Shard arrived in Seliver's hands. He merged together with the shard and felt the power flow through his veins. This was when he made his biggest scheme. He planned to use the soul shard to finally escape from Kethliode. And it was finally his turn to prevail.
