Aura of Starvation. A creature that starts its turn within 10 feet of the wendigo must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or be paralyzed by gnawing cold and crippling hunger for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature’s saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the wendigo’s Aura of Starvation for the next 24 hours.
Magic Resistance. The wendigo has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Mobile. When the Wendigo uses the Dash action, difficult terrain doesn't cost extra movement on that turn. And, when the Wendigo makes a melee attack against a creature, it don't provoke opportunity attacks from that creature for the rest of the turn, whether it hit or not.
Regeneration. The wendigo regains 20 hit points at the start of its turn. If the wendigo takes fire damage, this trait doesn’t function at the start of the wendigo’s next turn. The wendigo dies/is destroyed only if it starts its turn with 0 hit points and doesn’t regenerate.
Voice Mimicry. The wendigo can mimic any voice it has heard. A creature that hears the voices can tell they are imitations with a successful DC 15 Wisdom (Insight) check.
Multiattack. The wendigo makes three attacks: two with its icy claw and one with its bite. Alternatively, it uses its Frozen Spittle twice.
Icy Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (2d6 + 5) slashing damage and 7 (2d6) cold damage.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 19 (3d8 + 5) piercing damage.
Frozen Spittle. Ranged Spell Attack: +10 to hit, range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (6d4) cold damage, and the target must succeed on a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or be restrained until the end of its next turn.
Monstrous Cunning: The Wendigo can dash, disengage, or hide using a bonus action
Description
On first glance, this creature appears to be an amaciated stag. But on closer inspection it has an exposed rib cage, lacking internal organs and is ravenous. By the time you recognise this creature for what it is, it is likely upon you.
