Description

For most barbarian tribes the ritualistic burial of their dead is seen as among the most sacred rituals performed by the tribe. Shamans perform elaborate ceremony's for the tribes warriors, blessing their corpses so that they may find rest in the afterlife. It is believed that these rituals serve a dual purpose in preventing the animation of their corpses as undead warriors by nefarious powers.

A fortunate occurrence, as in the rare event where such a grave is desecrated or left unblessed by shamans, the Zombie Barbarians raised from them are infinitely more fearsome than their lesser undead kin. The feral rage these warriors channeled in life persists in their undead state, and when turned on the living by evil forces prove to be a monstrous force once again.
