Agonizing Venom. When a Nadder successfully performs a bite on a creature, they must make a DC 15 Constitution roll or be prone. They will take 1 poison damage every turn until they can successfully roll a 15.

Chicken Frenzy When a Nadder consumes a chicken, they have an advantage on all Dexterity saving throws for the next hour.

Tracker Nose Nadders have an advantage on all Investigation rolls that rely on smell and hearing.

Blind Spot. If the Nadder is targeting a creature directly in front of it within 5 ft, it has a disadvantage on Dexterity rolls.

 

Actions

Blazing Flame The Nadder exhales a 20 foot line of white hot fire. Each creature in the area must make a DC 11 Dexterity saving throw, taking 11 (1d6) fire damage  on a failed save.

Spine Shot. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5-25 ft, one to three targets. Hit: 5 (1d4) piercing damage. 

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack. +10 to hit, reach 10 ft; one target. Hit: 9 piercing damage.

Spine Whip Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 10ft, one target. Hit: 8 (1d4+2) piercing damage.

Snatch While in the air, the Nadder can choose one target on the ground, the creature targeted must perform a DC 13 Dexterity roll or become grappled. 

Bonus Actions

Retaliate If a creature performs a failed attack on the Nadder, the Nadder can roll a DC 12 and  on a successful throw perform a spine shot back at the creature.

Reactions

Stable Flight The if Nadder is struck with a heavy object, it will only take half damage.

Description

Deadly Nadders can suddenly raise the hundreds of sharp spines that stud their hides and tails and fling them with incredible accuracy. But when the shooting starts, there is no safer place to be than face-to-face with a Nadder — If you stand right in front of its nose, a Nadder won't be able to see you. Don't sneeze!
