Spellcasting. Zweiziel is a 18th-level spellcaster. His spellcasting ability is Wisdom (spell save DC 17, +9 to hit with spell attacks). Zweiziel has following Druid spells prepared:
Cantrips (at will): druidcraft, shillelagh, poison spray, produce flame, chill touch
1st level (4 slots): cure wounds, entangle, faerie fire, speak with animals
2nd level (3 slots): animal messenger, beast sense, hold person, blindness/deafness, gentle repose
3rd level (3 slots): conjure animals, meld into stone, water breathing, animate dead, gaseous form, bestow curse*
4th level (3 slots): dominate beast, locate creature, stoneskin, wall of fire, blight, confusion
5th level (3 slots): commune with nature, reincarnate, tree stride, cloudkill, contagion, hallow*
6th level (1 slot): heal, heroes' feast, sunbeam
7th level (1 slot): fire storm, plane shift*
8th level (1 slot): animal shapes, holy aura*
9th level (1 slot): foresight
*While most druids are unable to cast these spells, Zweiziel has The First Blessing of Silvanus that acts as a boon, granting him access to spells that would otherwise not be accessible by druids, as druid spells.
Quarterstaff. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5ft, one target. Hit 7 (1d8+2) bludgeoning damage.
Wild Shape (2/Day). The archdruid magically polymorphs into a beast or elemental with a challenge rating of 6 or less, and can remain in this form for up to 9 hours. The archdruid can choose whether its equipment falls to the ground, melds with its new form, or is worn by the new form. The archdruid reverts to its true form if it dies or falls unconscious. The archdruid can revert to its true form using a bonus action on its turn.
The new form's attacks count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistances and immunity to nonmagical attacks.
Symbiotic Entity
Zweiziel has the ability to channel magic into his spores. As an action, he can expend a use of his Wild Shape feature to awaken those spores, rather than transforming into a beast form, and he gains 72 temporary hit points. While this feature is active, he gains the following benefits:
- When he deals Halo of Spores damage, roll the damage die a second time and add it to the total.
- Your melee weapon attacks deal an extra 1d6 necrotic damage to any target they hit.
These benefits last for 10 minutes, until he loses all these temporary hit points, or until he uses Wild Shape again.
Spreading Spores
Zweiziel has the ability to seed an area with deadly spores. As a bonus action while his Symbiotic Entity feature is active, he can hurl spores up to 30 feet away, where they swirl in a 10-foot cube for 1 minute. The spores disappear early if he uses this feature again, if he dismisses them as a bonus action, or if his Symbiotic Entity feature is no longer active.
Whenever a creature moves into the cube or starts its turn there, that creature takes his Halo of Spores damage, unless the creature succeeds on a Constitution saving throw against his spell save DC (17). A creature can take this damage no more than once per turn.
While the cube of spores persists, he can't use his Halo of Spores reaction.
Halo of Spores
Zweiziel is surrounded by invisible, necrotic spores that are harmless until he unleashes them on a creature nearby. When a creature he can see moves into a space within 10 feet of him or starts its turn there, he can use a reaction to deal 1d10 necrotic damage to that creature unless it succeeds on a Constitution saving throw (DC 17).
Fungal Infestation (5/Day)
Zweiziel has the ability to infest a corpse and animate it. If a beast or a humanoid that is Small or Medium dies within 10 feet of him, he can use his reaction to animate it, causing it to stand up immediately with 1 hit point. The creature uses the Zombie stat block in the Monster Manual. It remains animate for 1 hour, after which time it collapses and dies.
In combat, the zombie's turn comes immediately after his. It obeys his mental commands, and the only action it can take is the Attack action, making one melee attack.
Description
Zweiziel The Spore-bearer is a tiefling circle of spores Archdruid; one of the first Circle of Spores Druids, he is as powerful as he is old in years. He assisted Silvanus during the Time of Troubles, when the gods walked the earth. He was offered to ascend to demi-god status during this time, but declined as he thought it would be boring.
He resides and watches over the Forest of Teeth in the Western Heartlands of Faerun. Anyone who enters and harms the wildlife is confronted by him and will become the subject of his mischievous sense of humor, magics, or both.
Fungal Body
Zweiziel can't be blinded, deafened, frightened, or poisoned, and any critical hit against him counts as a normal hit instead, unless he's incapacitated.
