Description

Abductors are savage creatures, they hunt their prey and teleport it to the Shadowfell to kill it there. It's an opportunistic predator, preying on creatures weaker than it, and killing them silently. Most of the time, no one even hears them coming before it's too late.

Terrifying Form. Abductors look like slimy, gray-skinned, vaguely humanoid creatures, but they have no eyes. They have a massive, gaping mouth that wickedly sharp and massive teeth protrude from. Acid and slime drip out of its maw, and its huge claws are coated in the blood of its prey. Since abductors have no eyes, they can't be blinded, but they have exceptional hearing and can hear a twig snap from a hundred feet away.

Relentless Attackers. Abductors become furious when their prey escapes, and will continue to hunt them down, in fear that it may be discovered by others. If its prey escapes, it will keep hunting them. If for some reason, it loses the target completely, or it's gone too far, the Abductor will retreat back to the Shadowfell and plot until it can stake out more territory in the material realm.

Born of Shadow. Abductors are natives of the Shadowfell, and they can travel to and from it into practically any plane of existence. Abductors generally avoid each other, but will fight to the death if they share territory.
