Description

The foul stalkers in rotten fens and putrid mires, the Scarboril are a race of monstrous creatures who devote their miserable lives to making everyone else as miserable as them. Reptilian in their shape, their bodies are covered in tight, pallid skin and their limbs end in bony fingers tipped with curled talons. Their heads sit on thin necks; bald and birdlike, with a single yellow eye sitting squarely in their brow. 

They dress in scrap metal armor and wield crude-yet-effective weapons. Scarboril are innately cruel and selfish, bullying and browbeating any beneath them, while simultaneously coveting the position of their betters. Sabotage, backstabbing and political backbiting are rife in their society, where loyalty exists only as far as one's bribes can reach.
