Description
Oversea's Drakes live in small packs, typically formed by 5 or 6 individuals. They live under a strict social hierarchy, with a single dominant male and several female mates. Occasionally, the pack can include younger males (typically the dominant's offspring), which tend to be very aggressive.
The dominant male will avoid fighting if a younger male is involved in combat, waiting in a hidden place for the other members of the pack to weaken their foes. It appears that this strategy is meant to instill fear in the enemies of the pack.
Their wivern-like body appears blue, with orange wings. The same hue can be found in their imposing spinal crest which serves several uses, from thermoregulation to communication and mating rituals. It also serves to fly.
Their hide is rugged, striated and fairly tough.
They are carnivorous and territorial, armed with strong beaks and claws which can easily slash through stone.
Their tail is also dangerous: Oversea's Drakes can crack their long tails like whips, causing severe wounds with the impact.
