Sand Form. The Black Sand Guardian can enter a creature's space and stop there. A creature that starts its turn sharing a space with the Black Sand Guardian must make a DC14 Constitution Saving Throw or be blinded until the end of their turn.
Water Vulnerability. If the Black Sand Guardian is doused in at least a gallon of water, it cannot use its multiattack on its following turn.
Glass. Whenever the Sand Guardian is subjected to fire or lightning damage, it loses its resistance against the next instance of bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage. If it takes more than 15 fire or lightning damage from a single source, its speed is reduced by 10 permanently.
Cursed Devotion. When a mummy within 10 feet of the Black Sand Guardian becomes the target of an attack, the guardian can impose disadvantage on the attack roll. If the attack misses the mummy, it hits the guardian instead.
Multiattack. The guardian makes two slam attacks. If both attacks hit a Medium or smaller target, the target is grappled (escape DC 16), and the guardian uses its Smother on it.
Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8 + 4) bludgeoning damage.
Smother. The guardian smothers a Medium or smaller creature grappled by it. The smothered target is restrained, blinded, and unable to breathe, and it must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw at the start of each of the golem's turns or take 10 (4d6 bludgeoning damage. If the golem moves, the smothered target moves with it. The golem can have only one creature smothered at a time.
Enlarge. As long as the golem is in physical contact with a large quantity of sand it can grow, becoming size Huge and gaining advantage on its attacks for the next minute. Additionally, the guardian gains 35 temporary hit points until the end of its next turn.
Rot Glare (recharge 4–6). The guardian targets one creature it can see within 60 feet of it. If the target can see the guardian, it must attempt a DC 16 Constitution saving throw. The creature takes 22 (4d10) necrotic damage and is cursed with Mummy Rot on a failed save. The cursed target can't regain hit points, and its hit point maximum decreases by 10 (3d6) for every 24 hours that elapse. If the curse reduces the target's hit point maximum to 0, the target dies, and its body turns to dust. The curse lasts until removed by the remove curse spell or other magic
