Keen Hearing and Smell. The apeeyaw has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell.
Semi-Corporeal The apeeyaw is a beast which evolved leaping between the feywild and the material plane. They cannot be hurt by non-magical weapons.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d6 + 1) piercing damage.
Pounce. If the apeeyaw moves at least 30 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a claw attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a DC 13 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the apeeyaw can make one bite attack against it as a bonus action
Teleport (Recharge 4–6). The apeeyaw magically teleports, along with any equipment it is wearing or carrying, up to 40 feet to an unoccupied space it can see. Before or after teleporting, the apeeyaw can make one bite attack.
Phase (2 per day) An Apeeyaw can phase completely into the feywild to dodge an attack. While there it can choose to resume it's hunt on the material plane or stay behind. Re-phasing into the material plane does not use up a charge if it re-phases within 1 minute.
Description
Strange beasts that seem have come from the Feywild. They often appear in certain forests or other places where the veil between the material plane and the feywild is thin. They appear as impossibly large dogs, with oversized jaws, covered in stark white with long shaggy hair. They move at lightning speed, sometimes on two legs rather than four. Sometimes they seem to have 'too many legs.' Their chilling screams sound like a humanoid woman in peril. They are bloodthirsty and attack without provocation. They are notorious as many adventurers have seen their companions murdered by them but when they went to get their revenge, their weapons passed right through the creatures as if they were made of thin air. Areas plagued by Apeeyaw often sell charms or wards to keep them away from the homestead or while travelling.
