The Abyssal Karkadann is one of the lesser demons of the abyss, despite their formidable bulk compared to most of the lesser creatures of that plane. Far too stupid to plan very far beyond their next meal and having no spoken language, the ill tempered brutes serve the greater powers of the abyss when it is forced upon them but mostly wander about in small herds. Their horn secretes a venom that sometimes works it’s way into the unfortunates that find themselves gored by it. Similar in size to the larger varieties of the Rhinoceri that inhabit the southern grasslands of Faerun.
