Description
The Bodega Cat Djinni was a djinni elemental who was captured but a team of tabaxi merchants. The djinni was caught sabotaging their business on behalf of their favored coffee merchant. These tabaxi trapped the djinni in a crystal diamond encrusted bottle, capped with a cork of day-old croissant and filled with catnip. The tabaxi were unaware that the djinni was under the service of this coffee merchant and not acting in their free will. They cursed the djinni. The djinni must willing serve as a familiar, through a full nine cat lives. While the djinni must follow the wishes of their master, they cannot willingly allow harm to come of itself. Generally, the djinni is a reluctant servant, however, they can be bribed to be a more congenial and attentive servant. Strong coffee, tea, and savory foods are welcome. However, any baked pastry or herb can infuriate the djinni and cause them to attempt to sabotage their master. When it is not at service, or if it dies, it returns to its bottle prison. Once it has died as an elemental familiar nine times it will for the first time have earned its freedom.
