Description
The Boar King wears a cursed magic item known as CROWN OF IX'ILLIK. It is permanently fused to the skull of the Boar King. While attuned to the CROWN OF IX'ILLIK, the wearer gains the following attributes;
Crown of Hooks. Consuming the flesh of a recently slain humanoid causes you to swell with power. If they died within 1 minute, you can add their Hit Die to your own by consuming their entire corpse. Roll their remaining Hit Die, add the amount to your Maximum HP, and your current HP increases by that much.
Using this ability will drain your sanity, as it is slowly consumed by the Crown. Losing too much sanity will cause you to turn permanently insane, changing your alignment to Chaotic Evil, as your bloodlust and hunger consume your body.
Crown's Contingency. Anytime you are reduced to 0 HP, you are instead brought back to consciousness 1d6+1 rounds later at half your Maximum HP. This is your new Maximum HP. You lose body mass as this occurs, and you shed your excess flesh. You become hungry.
Crown's Command. You gain the ability to telepathically command the dead. Once per day, you can force any number of humanoid corpses within 30ft to become animated Skeletons or Zombies, to do your bidding. You can give these Undead Thrall simple commands such as "Attack Those Creatures" or "Guard This Area". The Undead Thrall will follow that command until completed or destroyed.
