Bartric

Gnome Cunning. Bartric has advantage on all Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma saving throws against magic.

Acid Adept. Bartric's spells ignore resistance to acid damage. In addition, when he rolls damage for a spell he casts that deals acid damage, he can treats any 1 on a damage die as a 2.

Multiattack. Bartric makes three attacks with his shortsword, caustic bolt, or a combination of them. He can replace one of the attacks with a use of Spellcasting

Shortsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage plus 19 (7d4+5) acid damage.

Caustic Bolt. Ranged Spell Attack: +10 to hit, range 120 ft., one target. Hit: 28 (10d4 + 5) acid damage.

Vitriolic Orb (Recharge 4-6). Bartric creates an orb of caustic fluid and flings it to a point he can see within 120 feet of him, where it bursts. Each creature in a 20-foot-radius sphere centered on that point must make a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw, 35 (12d4+5) acid damage and another 17 (5d4+5) acid damage at the end of its next turn. On a successful save, a creature takes half the initial damage and no damage at the end of its next turn.

Spellcasting. Bartric casts one of the following spells, using Charisma as the spellcasting ability (spell save DC 18):

At-Will: mage hand, message,minor illusion,shape water

3/day each: fly, misty step, silent image, counterspell

1/day each: mirror image, greater invisibility, mental prison, teleport, illusory dragon

Arcane Defense (3/Day). When he is hit by an attack, Bartric protects himself with an invisible barrier of magical force. Until the end of his next turn, he gains a +5 bonus to AC, including against the triggering attack.
