Traits

Magic Resistance. The render has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Pounce. If the render moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits its claws attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a DC 17 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the render can make one bite attack against it as a bonus action.

Teleport. The render can teleport 60 feet in any direction. However around aeor/ Esilcross everyone in a 10 foot radius when the teleport is used needs to make a charisma saving throw or be teleported in a random direction.

Actions

Multiattack. The render makes three attacks: one with its bite and two with its claws.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 10 (1d10 + 5) piercing damage plus 5 (1d10) force damage.

Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d6 + 6) slashing damage plus 3 (1d6) force damage. When hit the creature needs to succeed a Charisma DC of 16 or be teleported in a different direction.

Howl Once per Long Rest. The Render begins to unleash and vorpal cry, while doing so the render summons 1d6 Temporal Spawns.

Description

Resembling some sort of a rat quadruped at a distance, the render's monstrous nature becomes quickly apparent while it shifts in. Named for its ability to tear through the weave and move through it like a snake in a river. This Render is a match for trying to pin down and it has become more dangerous during the fall of Aeor.
