In a new form, Alfonse retains his game statistics and ability to speak, but his AC, movement modes, Strength, Dexterity, and special senses are replaced by those of the new form, and he gains any statistics and capabilities (except class features, legendary actions, and lair actions) that the new form has but that he lacks.
Adaptive Riposte. If wielding his rapier, Alfonse can use his reaction when targeted by a melee attack to increase his AC by 6 for that attack. If the attack misses, Alfonse can use one of the following options:
Aggressive Slash. Alfonse makes one rapier attack against the attacker with advantage.
Defensive Footwork. Alfonse moves 5 feet back without provoking opportunity attacks and makes one divine blaster attack.
Description
After being lost during the collapse of the Greatest Bastion, Alfonse was thought to have been killed by the fall and rubble, his body lost to history. However, his death couldnt have been timed more perfectly as his soul bound with bronzebeards fleeting celestial energy. Alfonse caught a resurgence of life and found himself born anew, a warlock forever bound by the celestial it make a pact with.
