Silver Tongued. Creatures that are the target of enchantment spells cast by the avaraduine make saving throws with disadvantage against those spells.
Convincing Disguise. The avaranduine can weave an illusory self of truly incredible scope. The avaranduine gains the likeness of another creature it has seen before. If touched it convincingly replicates the feel of clothing and the touch of skin, scale bones, etc...; the avaranduine is unable to reproduce scents.
Innate Spellcasting. The avaraduine's innate spellcasting ability is Charisma. It can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:
At will: locate object, find the path, legend lore
3/day each: geas, compulsion, mislead
1/day each: foresight, feeblemind
Multiattack. The avaranduine makes two claw attacks and may make a shriek attack.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 10 ft., 2 target. Hit: 7 (2d6) piercing damage.
Shriek. RangedWeapon Attack: +8 to hit, range 20/60 ft., 1 target. Hit: 6 (1d12) psychic damage, and the target must make a DC 17 Constitution saving throw, becoming blinded and deafened
Glitterstep. When the avaranduine is the target of a weapon attack a shimmering image of the avaraduine appears in the same space. The avaraduine rolls a d20 to determine whether the attack instead targets the image. On a 12 or higher the attack targets the image. A creature is unaffected by this spell if it can't see, if it relies on senses other than sight, such as blindsight, or if it can perceive illusions as false, as with truesight.
Description
The avaranduine is a creature originating from the Plane of Earth. An otherwise sneaky creature attuned to the magic of enchantment. No matter the plane upon which they reside avaranduine are greed incarnate. They seek precious stones, metals and wealth. In order to procure wealth for itself, it would avoid the dao residents of the Plane of Earth.
An avaranduine will willingly part with some amount of wealth if it feels that it likely to receive greater wealth for the sacrifice.
Despite the creature's natural connection to magical forces, it is unable to invoke spells from schools outside of divination, enchantment and illusion; further more it's crystalline skins prevents it from attuning to magical equipment.
The creature is nearly a construct in its biology and finds itself vulnerable to Thunder damage. It has an earthy scent.
