Description
Having a high respect for nature, the Uriskear only take what they need and fiercely protect their lands against poachers and darker forces.
Despite their intimidating large build, outsiders who win their trust learn they are kind, empathic, and overprotective of their kin. They prefer to keep the more civilized peoples at bay, occasionally trading with druidic circles, hermits, and hunters.
Ursikear are adaptive people. While rare and difficult to find their settlements, they can be found in the mountains, dense forests, or snowy, frozen lands. The sizes and color of their fur vary based on their environment: black (forest), brown (mountains), white (snow). Unlike their bear cousins, this difference in color does not make a comparable difference in their size and overall strength but helps them camouflage with their environments.
