Multi-Attack: During it's attack, the Bananasaurus Rex
makes two attacks.
Claw: Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target.
Hit: 9 (2d6+3) slashing damage.
Peck: Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 10 ft., one
target. Hit: 4 (1d4+2).
Breath Wepons (5-6). The dragon uses one
of the following breath weapons.
Banana-Sneeze. The Bananasaurus Rex rapidly exhales a
30-foot cone of bananas which land in a large pile covering
that area. Each creature in that area must make a DC 15
Dexterity saving throw, taking 3d6+3 bludgeoning damage
and being knocked prone on a failed save, or taking half as
much damage on a successful save. The bananas create an area
of difficult terrain, requiring a DC 12 Dexterity check,
resulting in slipping and falling prone on a failed save. This
may be avoided by moving at half speed. The bananas
themselves taste wonderful, although they are poisonous.
Repulsion Breath. The Bananasaurus Rex exhales
repulsion energy in a 30-foot cone. Each creature in that area
must succeed on a DC 15 Strength saving throw. On a failed
save, the creature is pushed 40 feet away from the dragon.

Description
The Bananasaurus Rex is a solitary creature,
jealously guarding treasure and defending its
territory. They don't tolerate other sentient beings
well, unless they are given a steady stream of shiny
objects. So long as creatures and characters don't
pass within 120 feet of a lair or a Bananasaurus Rex
on the prowl, the Banansaurus will take no notice.
Bananasauruses can only even tolerate other
members of their own species long enough to breed,
which is fatal for at least one of the parents. The
resulting bunch of eggs hatch regardless of whether
the parents survive, and the baby Bananasauruses
duke it out or run away as fast as they can. Adults
do not take notice of the young until they are large
and strong enough to pose a threat to their treasure
hoards.
Standing 12 feet tall on average as adults, the
Bananasurus Rex prefers forests with high canopies
and little undergrowth. They find a safe territory
among fallen tree trunks, rocks, or a shallow cave to
hide their accumulated wealth. Coins, gems, metal,or anything shiny attract their interest, and they will
attack in order to take anything shiny for
themselves. Though they cannot carry much with
their tiny baby arms, they carry one or two pieces of
treasure at a time and move short distances until
they have found the right spot for a long-term lair.
Odd physiology. The Bananasaurus Rex has a
thick rubbery peel, and tough woody protrusions on
its beak, claws, and crown. The wood-like crown
detaches from the body upon death, and is
something of a curiosity, though it has no particular
inherent value. The fat from the Bananasaurus' liver
can be used as a component to cast the Wizard's
spell grease, with extra potency (ask your DM how
they think this should work). Though the bananas
produced by their breath weapon are slightly
poisonous, the soft fruity meat of the Bananasaurus
Rex is delicious and has no adverse effects on
humanoids. The difference between animal and
vegetable tissues is indistinct, and how this creature
ever came to exist is a mystery that baffles even the
most adruous arcana adepts. The mind boggles at
the very ridiculousness of why such a thing should
be allowed to exist!
Poison Bananas. Anyone who eats one of the
bananas produced by the dragon's breath weapon
must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, or
become poisoned. While poisoned the character
gets -2 to all Strength and Dexterity checks,
pooping their pants on a failed check. Once this
happens once, the poison has run its course.
Greedy treasure hoarders. Because the
Bananasaurus Rex is so attached to shiny things, it
accumulates a lot of them. Coins, precious stones,
scraps of metal, anything that reflects light or glows
goes in the pile. The Bananasaurus Rex prefers to
approach in long jumps, or a series of zigzag hops.
It pounces on anyone displaying any shiny object in
the hopes of snatching it away for the treasure pile.
Anyone who merely wanders too close to the hoard
is likewise doomed to suffer the same fate.
Expert Poise. The Bananasaurus Rex has
advantage on all Dexterity saving throws to move
Lair and Lair Actions
A Bananasaurus' Lair
Banansaurus Rex lairs are wherever their treasure
pile is stored – a cave, or just a space beside a large
rock. They change lairs often until they find one
suitable for their purposes, but any place that they
have claimed as their territory becomes the central
focus of their possessiveness, and they will defend
it viciously.
Lair Actions
On initiative count 20 (loosing initiative ties), the
dragon takes a lair action to cause one of the
following effects:
• The dragon creates a pink, banana-scented
fog as though it had cast the fog spell. This
fog also dims the perceptual abilities of any
non-Bananasaurus in its area of effect,
giving -2 to passive perception.
• The dragon creates a slimy area of old
banana peels, as if casting the grease spell.
This area becomes difficult terrain.
Regional Effects
The region containing a Bananasaurus Rex's lair is
not large, one hectare for each week that the
Banansaurus Rex has maintained the lair, to a
maximum of 100 hectares.
• Within this area, a strange banana scent
often pops up unexpectedly in wafts, and
disappears just as quickly.
• Fruit trees and bushes mysteriously bear
bananas instead of their normal produce.
• Artists and artisans find themselves creating
banana-themed items, and the insane
frantically draw bananas wherever they are
able – DC 10 Intelligence check to avoid
these behaviors every hour!
If the Bananasaurus Rex dies, these effects fade in
1d10 days.
