Honour Bound The Oni was a samurai in its past life, and therefore hasn't lost its strong sense of honour. If the Oni has been harmed in any way (directly, indirectly etc) it will go to long efforts to get revenge on the one(s) who wronged him.
Blood Rage Upon gathering 50 blood tokens (see bonus actions) the Oni can activate Blood Rage. The eyes of the Oni glow a bright red, with an aura of red radiating from him. The use of this ability allows the Oni to use his Demon Dash and Kanabo actions. While in a Blood Rage, whenever the Oni deals damage, roll double the amount of dice, and double the amount to be added to the dice roll. The Blood Rage lasts for half an hour, until the entity that harmed the Oni dies, or until the Oni dies. When getting out of a Blood Rage, the Oni is rendered prone for the next 2 minutes. The token count for the Oni falls by 1 for every 10 minutes that he isn't in the presence of violence for.
Katana Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage.
Kanabo Strike (Blood Rage only) Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5ft, one target. Hit: 13(2d8 + 4) bludgeoning damage
Demon Dash (Blood Rage only) The Oni brandishes its Kanabo, and starts sprinting at double movement speed towards an enemy. Once within 5ft of an enemy, the Oni can immediately use its Kanabo strike action.
Blood Absorption After dealing damage, the Oni can absorb the blood that he has drained from his enemies. For every point of slashing and piercing damage done between the last Blood Absorption and now, the Oni gains a token.
Description
Faint scratching of metal on metal can barely be heard over the loud thudding of the footsteps taken by the Samurai. The Katana brandished by the Demon has its own personal and unique engravings - signs of a once well respected and rich warrior. Pale skin with a tinge of blue is barely visible under the hulking suit the Samurai wears. On its face, a mask. The mask is unique to the Blood Oni, like its Katana. This one is one of an Oni, to reflect its raging attitude and reincarnated form. Holstered on its back, a Kanabo. A long stick of wood, with steel nobs around the side of the spherical wooden pole, several dozen centimetres in diameter, like a blunt mace. As the Blood Oni holds his rough - skinned hand out, the blood of his fallen enemy begins to fly towards its open palm. Letting out a bellowing, body shaking roar, the Oni holsters his Katana and instead starts wielding his Kanabo. The Samurai sprints towards the other hostile entity before him, and within a second, has caved its skull in. Honour restored, the Oni pulls out of his rage, and goes back to its wandering...
He is not the only one of his kind. Many other Blood Oni fell to darker powers during their lives, and were forever bound to this plane of existence as punishment. Now they wander, only lashing out upon being wronged, as their sense of honour has never faded.
