Description

Blighted druids are druids who worship Strahd because of his ability to control the weather and the beasts of Barovia.

These druids have fallen under the influence of the Gulthias tree. It has turned them from shepherds and stewards of life into tainted beings sowing disease and chaos. They seek only to help spread the blight of the Gulthias tree.

Often equipped with wands or staffs made from the tree's tainted wood, these druids are savage and violent, and each controls a host of twig blights, which fights until destroyed. If all the twig blights are destroyed or the druid loses more than half of its hit points, the druid flees, heading toward Yester Hill.

As enemies of the Keepers of the Feather, druids are particularly dangerous to them with the casting of Moonbeam.
