Description
The bodies interred in the temple of Aram are buried in thick, peat to better preserve them over the centuries. Some of the bodies are enchanted to protect the temple in undeath. Uniquely, this process is a choice made centuries ago by the willing martyrs. If their alarm is tripped, they're ready to spring to life wielding heavy clubs and fight in defence of their temple. Their movements are stiff from years of being immobile but their strength has been magically preserved for the occasion. The skin of these undead is tough and sticky. Bladed weapons sometimes get stuck in their skin as a result of their boggy burial.
