Traits

Aggressive. As a bonus action, the Blueback Girallon can move up to its speed toward a hostile creature that it can see.

Keen Smell. The Blueback Girallon has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell.

Spider Climb. The Blueback Girallon can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.

Actions

Multiattack. The girallon makes five attacks: one with its bite and four with its claws.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 8 (1d6 + 5) piercing damage.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d6 + 5) slashing damage.

Rock. Ranged Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, range 60/240 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (3d6 + 5) bludgeoning damage.

Web (Recharge 5–6). Ranged Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, range 30/60 ft., one creature. Hit: The target is restrained by webbing. As an action, the restrained target can make a DC 14 Strength check, bursting the webbing on a success. The webbing can also be attacked and destroyed (AC 10; hp 5; vulnerability to fire damage; immunity to bludgeoning, poison, and psychic damage).

Description

"I know they're a type of Girallon but I'm still not sure about the name. What about Arachnichimp or Spidermonkey?" - Elin Gentleheart, Adventurer

Sub-Species. Blueback Girallon's are closely related to the Girallon but are usually found in more tropic climates, though can be found in cooler forests.

Webbing. The Blueback Girallon is capable of firing a stream of a webbing-like substance from their mouth, though some witnesses claim it can fire the webbing from its tail.

Arachnid Traits. Either through natural or magical means, the Blueback variant of the Girallon seems to exhibit traits found amongst most arachnids, making them much better climbers than their white-furred cousins.
