Shapechanger. The werebadger can use its action to polymorph into a badger-humanoid hybrid or into a giant badger, or back into its true form, which is humanoid. Its statistics, other than its size, are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn't transformed. It reverts to its true form if it dies.
Keen Smell. The werebadger has advantage on Wisdom(Perception) checks that rely on smell.
Reckless. At the start of its turn, the werebadger can gain advantage on all melee weapon attack rolls it makes during that turn, but attack rolls against it have advantage until the start of its next turn.
Multiattack(Humanoid or Hybrid form Only). The werebadger makes three attacks: one with its bite, and one with its claw or scimitar. It can also instead fire a shot from its hand crossbow in exchange for any of these attacks.

Description
Werebadgers are fearless defenders of their homes. No matter the fearsome foe, a werebadger does not waver and stands against it. Preferring to sneak up on monsters and enemies that they consider dangerous from under their very own feet, they chase them down until their foes will to fight is lost. In their humanoid forms, they usually are very muscular and hairy, with male werebadgers growing big beards. Because of their thick skin and fur, they typically can shrug off colder weather.
Most werebadgers only wish to be left alone in their territories and practice martial arts to control their bestial rage. Any creature that enters the territory of a werebadger is usually chased off with brutal ferocity. However, should they find any individuals near them who are in danger, they are quick to scare off the beasts that threaten them.
