Dragon Bond: When connected to the blue dragon wyrmling as a pet you can issue it the following commands: Sit, Wait, Run, Fight, Help, Stop. These commands typically require an animal handling check DC 13 if the action is not one that the wyrlming would naturally take, when succeeding on a command the dragon follows it to the best of its abilities while preserving its own life. On a failure the dragon will follow a line of action to prevent harm to itself. The wyrmling is not inclined to run away from its bonded person(s).
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d10 + 3) piercing damage plus 3 (1d6) lightning damage.
Lightning Breath (Recharge 6). The dragon exhales lightning in a 30-foot line that is 5 feet wide. Each creature in that line must make a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw, taking (4d8) lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Description
A blue dragon is typically a rather vile creature, but one that has bonded with humanoids since early in its infancy tends to be rather neutral and tends to grow up to be a good judge of character and intent.
When taking care of this monster its important to not make it fight too often and to feed it regularly to prevent its natural instincts of hunting and evil from becoming dominant. If done right you will draw on the dragon's natural intelligence and mental development and 'civilize' it to a point where it can be reasoned with and where it shows some affection towards its bonded person(s).
Keeping the dragon around when it is in its teenage years or young adulthood is a difficult task, but at that point its nature for its later life has already been decided and will not have changed drastically anymore.
