Torch. The agalion is litterally on fire. Any creature that touches the agalion for the first time in its turn or makes a melee attack within 5 ft of it takes 14 (4d6) fire damage.
Multiattack. The agalion makes 3 attacks: one with its bite and two with its claws.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) piercing damage plus 14 (4d6) fire damage.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage.
Flaming Explosion (Recharge 6). The agalion rubs his skin and triggers an explosion of fire. All creatures within 30 ft must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw (DC 12) and take 45 (10d8) fire damage, half on a success.
Description
The agalion, sometimes called Typhoon of Tadhar because of its aggressiveness, is a mammalian creature covered with flaming spines.
Born from the flames. Elementals are born when elemental energy bonds with a spirit to form a magical creature. In the case of the agalion, it would seem that the magma of the volcanoes of the Elemental Plane of Fire and the flames that spontaneously generate is its source. Some efreetis and salamanders say that this elemental is born in waves, hordes of this thing coming out of volcanoes like magma flows.
Heat Creature. The agalion is dependent on heat to survive. The hotter it is, the more energetic the elemental becomes. Therefore, agalions can often be found in magma lakes lying at the bottom of volcanoes. Since heat makes the agalion more powerful, cold weakens it. In some places with cold climates where mages have made summonses, one can find ice statues in the shape of an agalion, the remains of the monster that was once summoned. This affinity for heat is reflected in the fact that the surroundings of the agalion are always excessively warm.
Flaming Spines and Explosive Skin. The agalion is made of solid flame. Its skin is both abrasive and flammable, allowing the elemental to cause powerful explosions of heat by rubbing its paws on it. Hard, shiny spines emerge from its back, made of fire crystal, and thus burn constantly as soon as they come into contact with the air.
