Spellcasting.   is an 9th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 16, +8 to hit with spell attacks). A young or older dragon can innately cast a number of spells equal to its Charisma modifier. Each spell can be cast once per day, requiring no material components. The has the following spells prepared:

Rejuvenation: When a Dragon falls in battle its soul is ripped from its body back to the remnants of its egg,  a dead dragon gains a new body in 1d20+10 days. it regains all Hit points and is born at the same age of death. the new body is formed within 30 feet of the egg remnants. a dragon that dies from old age will not form a new body and will fade into the weave.

Actions

Multiattack. The dragon makes three attacks: one with its bite and two with its claws.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (2d10 + 6) piercing damage.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d6 + 6) slashing damage.

Breath Weapons (Recharge 5–6). The dragon uses one of the following breath weapons.

Cold Breath. The dragon exhales an icy blast in a 30-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 17 Constitution saving throw, taking 54 (12d8) cold damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Paralyzing Breath. The dragon exhales paralyzing gas in a 30-foot cone. Each creature in that area must succeed on a DC 17 Constitution saving throw or be paralyzed for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

Description

Valaserix has drakonic letters engraved into each of the scales going down his neck to his tail and frost energy flowing from under the scales at his neck and rings in his wings at the tips. silver scales shine all around his body and wing membrane extends down to the tip of his tail.
