False Appearance. While the dragon remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from an ordinary berry.

Goodberry. All berry dragons can innately cast goodberry at will, the type of berries and additional effects they may have, that appear are determined by what type of berry dragon cast it as shown below.

Strawberry, 3/day: A sweet & juicy berry that yields 5 berries every casting which heals for 1 hit point & makes the consumer smell 'sweet and fruity' giving a +1 to all charisma skills for a duration of 1 hour., If all 5 strawberries are consumed by one creature in quick succession they will have a sugar-high lasting 1 hour, increasing their speed by 5-feet, after which they will experience an energy-crash causing them to move at half speed for 5 hours.

Raspberry, 3/day: A fruit that is both tart and sweet, 10 raspberries appear every casting, they each heal for 1 hit point., If all 10 raspberries are consumed by one creature in quick succession they become dehydrated and gain 1 point of exhaustion.

Blueberry, 3/day: Blueberries are a sweet & slightly acidic berry, 20 blueberries appear every casting, They each heal for 1 hit point., If all 20 blueberries are consumed by one creature in quick succession the inside of their mouth burns and they take 10 (5d4) acid damage.

Grape, 3/day: Grapes come in big yields with 3d20 berries that each heal for 1 hitpoint and give resistance to disease for 1 minute after consuming., If 30 or more blueberries are consumed by one creature in quick succession the inside of their mouth burns and they take 1 acid damage for every berry consumed.

Blackberry, 3/day: While sweet, blackberries are also extremely tart, leaving your mouth dry after eating one, 10 blackberries appear every casting, they each heal for 2 (1d4) hit points., If 3 or more blackberries are consumed by one creature in quick succession they will experience acid reflux and take 4 (2d4) acid damage for ever berry consumed after the 3rd.

Mulberry, 2/day: Mulberries have a delicate balance of sweet & tart & spice, 2 mulberries appear each casting that each heal for half a creatures hit points., If both of the mulberries are consumed by one creature in quick succession they take 27 (9d6) poison damage and will be stricken with the poisoned condition for 4 days.

Lingonberry, 2/day: Sour/tart/ and slightly sweet, 8 lingonberries appear every casting, each berry heals for 1 hitpoint and if 4 are consumed they can cure diseases., If all 8 lingonberries are consumed by one creature in quick succession they become nauseated. (Nauseated: Experiencing stomach distress. Nauseated creatures are unable to attack, cast spells, concentrate on spells, or do anything else requiring attention. The only action such a character can take is a single move action per turn.)

Cloudberry, 1/day: Tart and floral, the rarest of all berry dragons, 1 Cloudberry appears each time goodberry is cast, it fully heals the creature that consumes it and grants them immunity to poison and disease for 24 hours after consumption.

Elderberry, 1/day: Earthy and Tart, 10 elderberries appear every casting & each heal for 3 hit points., If all 10 elderberries are consumed by one creature in quick succession they drop to zero hit points and are stricken with the poisoned condition until cured.

Vague Telepathy. Using telepathy, the dragon can magically communicate vague ideas and concepts with any other creature within 60 feet of it.

Actions

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: -2 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 1 piercing damage.

Acid Spray. The dragon exhales acid in a 5 foot line. Each creature in that line must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw, taking 6 (1d12) acid damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Description

A berry dragon is a berry sized-winged dragon with exocarp-epicarp scales. It has a long-froglike tongue which it uses for grooming and catching fruit & bugs to eat.

Lawful Helpers. The only give away of a hidden berry dragon’s presence is the appearance of a few berries left in an obvious manner near a group of hurt or injured creatures. The dragon stays out of sight, watching from the brush as its benefactors  heal a bit from its berries. When the group is fully healed and rested, the dragon will depart, returning to its deep-forest home.

Peaceful and Shy. A berry dragon has a mind akin to a two year old human, a fondness for bugs and are quite shy introverts, and a childish sense of humor. Travelers can play to a berry dragon’s honest nature by leaving it an offering it “treasure” in the form of bugs and exotic berries in exchange for healing berries or safe passage through its forest.

All The Different Species of Berries. A berry dragon’s exocarp-epicarp scales have the same appearance of a berries natural exocarp-epicarp layer, causing it to look indistinguishable from a berry when they keep still. All berry dragons have the innate spellcasting ability, to cast goodberry, which they can cast a few times a day, because of their heritage, the berries that appear from the goodberry will be of the same type of berry that the dragon is. All berry dragon berries have additional effects to the normal berries created through the goodberry spell and expire 4 days after they're transmutation.
