Breakneck Speed (Recharges on a short or long rest). As a bonus action, the Bagubado can access a well of stamina, allowing it to move at twice its normal flying speed for 1 minute, after which the Bagubado gains one level of exhaustion.
Keen Sight. The Bagubado has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight.
Multiattack. The Bagubado makes three attacks: one with its bite and two with its claws.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8 + 4) piercing damage.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (2d10 + 4) slashing damage.
Thunderous Buzz (Recharge 5-6). The Bagubado emits thunderous noise in a 20-foot radius. Each creature in the area must make a DC 16 Constitution saving throw, taking 28 (5d10) thunder damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful save. If a creature fails the saving throw by 5 or more, they are also deafened for 1 minute. The creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. A creature is immune to the Bagubado's Thunderous Buzz if it is immune to the deafened condition.
Description
Bagubados resemble large beetles with four hook-like appendages, along with the head, tail feathers, and back legs of a vulture. The bird-like head sports a read mask of feathers with two long plumes to attract females. These creatures can travel at impressive speeds, and can flutter their insectoid wings at speeds that cannot be seen by the human eye to emit a thunderous buzzing.
