Description
Residing under the sands around Peace Point, the ambush monitors are mostly solitary, meeting only to mate, then parting again. They tend to be between 18 and 25 feet long, and weigh between 1500 and 3000 lbs., resembling massive versions of the Horned Lizards of this world, except with black scales on their stomachs, and the insides of their mouths are perfectly matching the scales of their head, to mean sand-colored.
