Divine Protector. While on the Material Plane, the Aegis Angel serves a singular mortal as their angelic guardian. It always knows the location and direction to its mortal charge while they are on the same plane. When they are on different planes, the angel only knows which plane its charge is on.
While within 500 feet of the angel, the angel's mortal charge benefits from its Magic Resistance feature.
Flyby. The Aegis Angel doesn't provoke opportunity attacks when it flies out of an enemies reach.
Magic Resistance. The Aegis Angel has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Magic Weapons. The Aegis Angel's weapons are considered magical for the purpose of overcoming resistances to non magic damage.
Sentinel. Creatures provoke opportunity attacks from the angel even if they take the Disengage action beforehand, and when the angel hits a creature with an opportunity attack, its speed becomes 0 for the rest of the turn. In addition, when a creature within 5 feet of the angel makes an attack against another creature, the angel may make one attack against that creature as a reaction. If the triggering attack is against the angel's mortal charge, the angel's attack is made with advantage.
Spellcasting. The Aegis Angels spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 18, +10 to hit with spell attacks). It can innately cast the following spells, requiring only verbal components:
At will: clairvoyance, daylight, detect evil and good, invisibility(self only), protection from evil and good, warding bond
1/day: dispel evil and good, life transference(5th level), revivify, scrying(mortal charge only)
Multiattack. The Aegis Angel makes two attacks with its moonsilver battleaxe or one attack with it's moonsilver battleaxe and one with it's shield bash, and uses Fearsome Gaze if it is available.
Moonsilver Battleaxe. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (1d8 + 5) slashing damage, plus 22 (5d8) radiant damage.
Shield Bash. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (2d4 + 5) bludgeoning damage, plus 3 (1d6) piercing damage, and the target must make a DC 17 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
Fearsome Gaze (Recharge 5-6). The Aegis Angel glares with divine fury at one creature it can see within 60 feet. That creature makes a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw, with disadvantage if it had been hit by the Moonsilver Battleaxe since the start of its last turn. On a failed save, the creature is frightened of the Aegis Angel for 1 minute. It must use each of its turns to get as far away from the Aegis Angel as possible. It may repeat the save at the end of each of its turns.
On a successful saving throw, a creature has advantage on saving throws against the Fearsome Gaze of all Aegis Angels for 24 hours.
Deflect Attack. The Aegis Angel imposes disadvantage on an attack targeting a creature within 5 feet of it. It must be wielding it's shield to use this attack.
