Traits

Brave. The Velociraptor has advantage on saving throws against being Frightened.

Keen Sences. The Velociraptor has advantage on Perception checks that rely on hearing or sight.

Might of the Master. The following numbers increase by 1 when your proficiency bonus increases by 1: the Velociraptor’s skill and saving throw bonuses (above), the bonuses to hit and damage of its attacks, and the number of hit points restored by its Repair action (below).

Pack Tactics. The Velociraptor has advantage on attack rolls against a creature if at least one of the Velociraptors' allies is within 5 ft. of the creature that isn't Incapacitated.

Pounce. If the Velociraptor moves at least 20 ft. straight towards a creature and then hits it with a claw attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a DC 15 STR saving throw or be knocked Prone. If the target is knocked Prone, the Velociraptor can make one bite attack against it as a bonus action.

Standing Leap. The Velociraptors' long jump is up to 30 ft. and its high jump is up to 20 ft., with or without moving.

Steel Velociraptor. In combat, the Velociraptor shares your initiative count, but it takes its turn immediately after yours. It can move and use its reaction on its own, but the only action it takes on its turn is the Dodge action, unless you take a bonus action on your turn to command it to take one of the actions in its stat block or the Dash, Disengage, Help, Hide, or Search action.

If the Mending spell is cast on it, it regains 2d6 hit points. If it has died within the last hour, you can use your smith’s tools as an action to revive it, provided you are within 5 feet of it and you expend a spell slot of 1st level or higher. The Velociraptor returns to life after 1 minute with all its hit points restored.

Vigilant. The Velociraptor can't be Surprised.

Actions

Multiattack. The Velociraptor makes two attacks: one with its bite and one with its claws.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 10 (2d8 + 1) piercing damage.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 9 (2d4 + 1) slashing damage.

Laser Beam (Recharge 5-6). The Velociraptor opens it's mouth and exhales a radiant line that is 5 ft. wide and 60 ft. long. Anything hit by this beam takes 12 (4d6) Radiant damage.

Repair (3/day). The magical mechanisms inside the Velociraptor restore 2d8 + 2 hit points to itself or to one construct or object within 5 feet of it.

Reactions
