Limited Telepathy. Using telepathy, the dragon can magically communicate with any other creature within 30 feet of it.
Magic Resistance. The dragon has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Innate Spellcasting. The dragon’s innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 13). It can innately cast a number of spells, requiring no material components. As the dragon ages and changes color, it gains additional spells as shown below.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 1d4 piercing damage.
Gravity Breath (Recharge 5–6). The dragon exhales a wall of energy at one creature within 5 feet of it. The target must succeed on a DC 11 dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the target takes 2d6 force damage, and half as much on a successful save. In addition, if the creature fails the saving throw, they are knocked prone.
Description
A amethyst dragon is a cat-sized dragon with gem-like scales. It loves to create all kinds of chaos, but does not enjoy harming others. They are known for their magical abilities.
Draconic origins:
1. Even though an amethyst dragonlet may not be directly related to its draconic ancestors, it still enjoys having a "lair". The dragonlet will find boxes, small caves, and hollows in trees to store their "treasure". They will dilligently defend their lair from animals.
2. The amethyst dragonlet loves treasure, and will try to steal anything from sweets to gold. They especially love gems, and will sleep on these gems as if they were eggs. If these gems are stolen, the dragonlet will call other dragonlets in the area to help find these gems.
Friendly and Bright. An amethyst dragonlet has a sharp mind, a fondness for treasure and good company, and a puckish sense of humor. Travelers can play to a amethyst dragonlet’s draconic nature by offering it “treasure” in the form of sweets, baked goods, and baubles in exchange for information or safe passage through its territory.
