Icey Warm Blubber. The bjornix is immune to being stunned thanks to the thick layer of blubber and fat that keeps its body warm. It also acts as a defence against the cold, making it resistant.
Restorative Milk The bjornix can be milked once a fortnight, no matter if it's male or female, for about two wineskins worth of thick, creamy milk which can restore HP by 1d4+4 when drunk.
Multiattack. The bjornix makes two attacks: one with its bite and one with its claws.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (2d6 + 2) piercing damage.
Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (3d4 + 2) slashing damage.
Frozen Swipe. Once per day, the bjornix can secrete the waste products of it's milk into the tips of it's claws, making a type of cold-focussed poison effect. A claw attack made with these extra deadly elements will deal an additional 1d8 cold damage and 1d4 poison damage.
Fearsome Roar. Once per day, the bjornix can accumulate all of its anger into a singular roar which is enough to frighten any soul who hears it. The roar can be heard in a 15ft cone and anyone within it must succeed a DC 14 dexterity saving throw or become frightened for one minute.
Description
At first glance, the bjornix looks like a very large brown bear that's gotten lost in the wilderness of the frozen north. On closer inspection though, you'll see that it has two thick antlers protruding from its head and a layer of frozen ice under its belly.
They are kind-hearted creatures who can be easily tamed and love the company of others. They tend to travel in maternal herds with males going on solo adventures although it isn't unusual for males to stay within their herds until they've mated for the first time.
The dwarves of Amerholtd have long reared these beasts to be their transport across the tundra as well as provide a healing milk for sustenance. The bjornix can eat meat, but prefers to consume a type of fungi that lives beneath the snow called moulian delnixus.
