Sunlight Sensitivity. While in sunlight, the plofantas has disadvantage on attack rolls, as well as on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight.
Partially Ethereal The Plofantas is resistant to damage dealt by sources on the material plane, but it deals half damage to creatures on the material plane.
Innate spellcasting The Plofantas can cast the following spells innately, using charisma as their spellcasting ability.
At will:light, thaumaturgy, [Tooltip Not Found]
1/day:invisibility, misty step
Multiattack The plofantas makes three tail spike attacks, or two tail spike attacks and one tentacle attack.
Tentacle. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 10 ft., one creature. Hit: 6 (1d8 + 2) bludgeoning damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 14). Until this grapple ends, the creature is restrained, and the plofantas can't constrict another target. If the target is larger or larger, their speed is reduced by 10ft instead of being grappled.
Tail Spike. Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, range 100/200 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d8 + 2) necrotic damage and the target is considered to be on the ethereal plane until end of their next turn.
Acid Spray (Recharge 5-6) The Plofantas spits acid in a line that is 30 feet long and 5 feet wide, provided that it has no creature grappled. Each creature in that line must make a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw, taking 21 (6d6) acid damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
