Traits

Nimble Escape. The goblin can take the Disengage or Hide action as a bonus action on each of its turns.

Lots of Eyes. When in a battle stack this allows the top goblin to use a bonus action to make an investigation check on their turn.

Battle Stacks. Batiri warriors sometimes ride on each other’s shoulders in battle, in a formation known as a battle stack. These can be up to nine goblins tall. Each goblin tracks its hit points individually, but the stack moves and makes ability checks, attack rolls, and saving throws as one creature. The stack has advantage on melee attacks because of its built-in “pack tactics” effect; all the goblins are waving spears at the enemy, even if only one can hit.

Actions

Scimitar. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) slashing damage.

Shortbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, range 80/320 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) piercing damage.

Blowgun.  Ranged Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, range 25/100 ft., one target. Hit: 1 (1) Piercing damage  and the target must succeed on a DC 11 Constitution saving throw or take 10 (3d6) poison damage. If the poison damage reduces the target to 0 hit points, the target is stable but poisoned for 1 hour, even after regaining hit points, and is paralyzed while poisoned in this way. The Batiri harvest poison from giant centipedes.  A typical Batiri goblin has 3 poisoned darts, and a bundle of 10 nonpoisoned darts.

Description

Batiri goblins have always been adaptable and successful at exploring dangerous places and finding new things. They are slightly more clever than most goblins and this allows them to use their battle stack in interesting ways.

Batiri goblins have a 50% chance to have one random item from the adventuring gear section of the players handbook that weighs less than 5 pounds.  They tend to travel in groups of five to seven goblins. If they end up with to many to fit in a battle stack they will split into two seperate groups.
